They rolled out the red carpet on Park Avenue last night. And I do mean ON the Avenue. Well, on the Avenue's sidewalk, to be precise. Right outside Liz's, the trendy boutique with Las Vegas flair.
Walking the red carpet were models wearing shapely designs from Liz's. Included were the statuesque Sissy de Muth, here in a red Regine number. And Tori Jones in a form-fitting green/black striped design by Nicole Miller.
Liz, left, is wearing a snug black sheath with panels of tiny chains down the sides, a Sheri Bodell design. To see more of Bodell's latest collection, which features lots of studs and chains, stop in at Liz's between 1-6 p.m. Saturday, when she'll be hosting a Sheri Bodell trunk show.
Among the fashionistas strolling the Avenue and stopping in at the various trunk shows and parties was hairstylist Arlene Weber, below, owner of the cutting-edge Ciseaux salon in Winter Park. She was all decked out in a plaid (very trendy) halter dress, faux-jade necklace, Nicole Miller stacked platform sandals and a big D&G purse — bought at a consignment store. (Smart shopper!)
